MAKING A HOUSE A HOME: 10 TIPS

1. GO FOR A WARM, NEUTRAL COLOUR SCHEME

2. GET SOME FORM OF LOW LIGHTING:
A LAMP WILL MAKE SO MUCH DIFFERENCE. LOW LIGHTING CREATES A CALM, HOMELY ATMOSPHERE.

3. ADD A FEW (A LOT) OF CANDLES

4. PUT SOME PERSONAL PHOTOS OUT

5. CHOOSE A SCENT AND STICK TO IT:
THAT WAY, PEOPLE WILL ASSOCIATE IT WITH YOUR HOUSE. THIS MAKES PEOPLE FEEL AT HOME

6. ADD SOME PERSONAL TOUCHES E.G. PLAQUES/ORNAMENTS

7. KEEP THE HOUSE WARM:
NOONE LIKES A COLD HOUSE

8. HAVE THROWS AND BLANKETS AT THE READY

9. ALWAYS HAVE BISCUITS IN:
JUST BECAUSE EVERYONE LOVES BISCUITS!

10. HAVE CUSHIONS WHEREVER POSSIBLE;
THEY MAKE A ROOM LOOK HOMELY AND COMFORTING. PLUS, THEY'RE COMFY.
